Architecture JHK volunteers its time to help homeowners rebuild their lives and their homes, including families in Pacific Palisades, Altadena and Pasadena, and surrounding Los Angeles communities. Working with local partners such as AIA Pasadena & Foothill, Matt Steele and Jane Kim Keener offer free guidance to families facing the rebuilding process, often for the first time. We explain the steps involved, answer questions about design and permitting, and help homeowners understand their options so they can move forward with confidence.

With more than 20 years of experience designing custom homes, additions, and remodels in Los Angeles, we know how overwhelming it can feel to rebuild after a loss. Sharing our knowledge at no cost is our way of giving back to the neighborhoods we serve. Our team believes that clear, compassionate guidance can make the path to a new home feel less uncertain.
